Walk and Talk Therapy comes with the belief that in order for an individual to move forward emotionally, it may take them to get moving physically. Traditional therapy sessions will be taken out of the office and onto the streets (or parks) of Charlotte. Walk and Talk Therapy is beneficial for those who struggle with anxiety, depression or just a need to improve your current mood. Studies show that being outdoors and getting some Vitamin D can help improve mood, improve your sleep and relieves stress!
Our initial session will be held in my office (or virtual setting). After that, we will decide where will we be outdoors in a safe environment *All sessions do not have to be outdoors and is weather permitting*.
Please note: Although I cannot guarantee confidentiality as I can with traditional therapy, we can address any issues that may arise. We can address your concerns further in detail when signing the consent form and consent form must be completed prior to our first outdoor session.
